The Hotel

“The Hotel” is the last part of the trilogy about traveling. The first two were “The Atlantic” and “The Lighthouse”. “The Hotel” is a different kind of home. It can be a refuge, cul-de-sac, castle, nightmare, creative space…
The first hotel was created as protection against the elements. Weary travelers coudl find shelter and rest. But it was also a place for legends and anecdotes. For ten years, Kristian Petri has been collecting material to make this film. In “The Hotel” some of the hotel guests we’ll meet are Lars Norén, Stellan Skarsgård, Åsne Seierstad, Björn Andresen and Zengoro Houshi.
